Born and raised in Paris, France, Cécile Crolais has worked in the fashion industry for well over a decade. After graduating from the European Institute of fashion (ISEM / ESMOD group) in Paris in 2003, Cécile began her career with an internship at Éditions Jalou and founded her own company soon after. Since then, Cécile has had the opportunity to work across a diverse spectrum as a stylist, from the world of BMX and skateboard magazines to street fashion, and at an elevated level for internationally renowned agencies such as DDB, Saatchi Saatchi, Publicis, TBWA, BDDP& fils, and M&CSaatchi.gad, in addition to organizations like the Getty Image’s Image Bank and projects with distinguished photographers Martin Parr and Jean Larivière.
With life and work spanning across several countries, cultures, and languages, Cécile has a great appreciation for the collaborative effort. While connected to her roots in the street culture, the process of bringing a photographer’s vision to life in a more high-end fashion environment or developing a team-based concept in an advertising and product context are aspects of her work that drive and inspire her. The versatility of a stylist’s day-to-day is hard to beat, from studio to location to city to countryside, and as someone who considers the team aspect that any photo or film shoot lives and dies by an asset, Cécile’s motivation and inspiration reservoirs won’t run dry any time soon.
Cécile lives in Paris with her husband and two sons.
